We are pleased to present the Book of Abstracts for the 2025 Indonesian Student Congress in the Netherlands (Kongres Pelajar Indonesia di Belanda, KPI 2025), held on 4 October 2025 in Delft. With the theme “Towards a Brighter Indonesia: Strategic Pathways in Technology, Economy, and Environment,” this congress brings together Indonesian students to share ideas, research, and perspectives on the future of our country. 

Indonesia’s young generation has always been a driving force for progress. From the independence movement to the reform era, students have played an important role in shaping national change. Today, as Indonesia prepares for its 2045 vision, we again see the opportunity and responsibility for youth to take part in building solutions for challenges in technology, economy, environment, and society.

KPI 2025 provides a space for exchange and collaboration. Indonesian students from across the Netherlands and beyond gather here not only to present research, but also to connect, learn from each other, and build networks that may contribute to Indonesia’s development in the years ahead. The strong support from PPI Belanda, ORIGIN, PPI Delft, and the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in The Hague reflects the importance of collective effort in empowering youth to contribute both locally and globally.

This Book of Abstracts contains the selected contributions under five main themes: technological innovation and digital advancement; economic development, governance, and security; human capital development and social well-being; environmental sustainability and resource management; and cultural heritage, communication, and humanistic values. Together, these abstracts represent the knowledge, creativity, and aspirations of Indonesian students who are committed to making a difference.

We thank all authors, reviewers, and partners who have supported this congress. We hope the ideas presented here will spark further research, dialogue, and collaboration that will benefit Indonesia now and in the future.
